Promoting Diversity in Technology Sales

On Target Equality Guides & Connects.

Our nation’s sales industry workforce, including technology sales, is currently 80% white. We’re here to change that.

Why?

2020 has been a stark reminder of the inequities that exist in our country. This includes technology sales which remains a white, male-dominated field. It has been far too long that qualified candidates have not received the guidance or opportunity to enter this field simply because of their ethnicity or gender.

How?

On Target Equality was created as a platform to assist minority technology sales candidates by guiding them and connecting them to industry leaders and recruiters. Using video-based content, we hope to make it easier for technology sales hiring managers to staff their teams with quality talent of all races.

Who?

We are seeking candidates of all genders, races and ages including current college students, recent graduates and those already working in a different field. At this time, On Target Equality is specifically focusing on ex-collegiate athletes to provide a foray into sales once the playing days are over.

What else?

On Target Equality was founded in 2020 by Bennet Woodward—a Korean-American, 14-year technology sales veteran, and ex-college basketball player. It is his mission to change the landscape of the technology sales field one ambitious candidate at a time.
